We were ready for a change. Life was good, life was easy, but we were curious. What would happen if we sold (most of) our stuff, and headed out of the country for awhile?

After spending a lot of time wondering "what if" we devised a plan to explore a bit more of the world than we could see from the top of Green Mountain in Boulder, Colorado. Because, why not? There was no good answer to that question, other than "well, then let's."

The plan involved a very detailed spreadsheet highlighting our potential itinerary (Spencer), and a very strict goal of saving money and not purchasing (more than one very necessary) pair of new boots for a whole year (Erin). Oh, and checking to see if our jobs would allow us to work remotely for awhile.

Some people asked "why travel?" And that is a great question. We both have a different answer, which you can read below if you'd like. Regardless, thank you for visiting us here and we hope that you stick around as this journey evolves.
